November 13, 2009 - Miss ASCC 2009-2010 Pageant This Weekend

The American Samoa Community College (ASCC) will hold its Miss ASCC 2009-2010 Pageant this Saturday, November 21 st , beginning at 6 p.m. in the Gymnasium. Eight exceptional young ladies, each nominated by one of the ASCC student clubs, will compete for the Miss ASCC title by demonstrating their talents in the areas of dress, talent, knowledge, and familiarity with Samoan culture. November 9 , 2009 - ASCC/GUAS Provides Relief to Partner Schools

Among the many tsunami relief efforts initiated at the American Samoa Community College (ASCC), GEAR UP American Samoa (GUAS) has distributed more than $20,000 worth of school supplies to students in cohort schools who have been affected by the October 29 th earthquake and tsunami. "We found that as many as 150 of the students in our partner high schools lost everything they owned during the tsunami," said GEAR UP Director Tupua Roy Fua. Read More...
