| The Certificate of Proficiency is offered
by a number of programs of study, and is intended for the student
seeking immediate employment, or who is currently working and seeking
a career upgrade. Specifically, recipients of a Certificate of Proficiency
will have achieved the following learning outcomes: |
1. Be prepared for employment or increase
competency in their current occupation.
2. Apply acquired knowledge and skills in real work settings.
3. Communicate effectively.
4. Follow instructions, procedures and guidelines.
5. Examine and analyze situations, identify problems and execute appropriate
solutions.
6. Work cooperatively in groups. |
| *Technical and professional standards will be referenced
for all theory and practice. |
| Students seeking a Certificate of Proficiency in their
chosen program of study must meet the following requirements: |
1. Complete the general graduation requirements.
2. Complete the general education requirements.
3. Complete the program requirements.
4. Meet the residency requirements of, 15 credits toward program be
completed at ASCC. |
