Nondiscrimination and Affirmative Action
The American Samoa Community College (ASCC) is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer. It is the policy of ASCC to comply with Federal and State laws that prohibit discrimination in College programs and activities, including but not necessarily limited to the following laws which cover student and applicants for admission to ASCC:

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Age Discrimination Act of 1975; Titles VII and VIII of the Public Health Service Act; Title IX Education Amendments of 1972; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and Section 402 of the Vietnam Era Veteran's Assistance Act of 1974.

The President of the American Samoa Community College hereby declares and reaffirms her commitment to the College's pursuit of equal education and employment opportunities, and further declares that any harassment of students or employees on the basis of sex is prohibited. The College’s Human Resources Office will handle complaints of this nature.
