Tuition and Fees

Tuition at the American Samoa Community College is $110.00 per credit hour for resident students and $120.00 per credit hour for non-resident students.

All regular ASCC students are also required to pay the following fees at the time of registration: a registration fee of $50.00 ($15.00 for student activity fee; and $35.00 for registration). Students who are unable to complete registration and payment during the scheduled registration period will be required to pay an additional late fee of $20.00. These fees are non-refundable.

Add/Drop/Withdrawal: $5.00
Evaluation of Credits: $10.00
(includes transfer of military credits and job/life experience)

Student Copy of Transcript: $2.50 per student copy
Official Transcript: $5.00 per official copy

Technology Fee: $5.00 per credit
Independent Study: $25.00
Complete Withdrawal from ASCC: $10.00 per student
Exception Policy Fee: $25.00 (non-refundable)
Dishonored Checks Fee: $30.00 per check (non-refundable)
Graduation Fees: $100.00*


* If for any reason a student does not graduate during the semester the graduation aplication is intended, no refund will be given but fees will be carried (except for the diploma fee) over for the semester the student actually graduates.

An additional $25.00 will be charged for ordering an additional diploma for the semester the student actually graduates.


Course laboratory fees are assessed by some classes for the use of equipment and materials. Some may have additional costs for special supplies. Refer to the Laboratory Fees section for a complete listing.
