Utilities

• Winzip - A utility that zips (compresses) any files to send across the Internet.
• Quicktime Player - Apple's version of media player. It will play any movies using .mov format.
• SecureShell Client - This software will allow a user to connect to a SSH (Secure Shell) website or server.
• RealPlayer - Another alternative to Windows Media Player.

• Adobe Acrobat Reader - It allows the user to able to view and read Portable Document Format (PDF) files from the Internet.

• OpenOffice- Sun Microsystem's version of Office Suite. Its free and is compatible with all formats (doc, xls, ppt, etc.) from Microsoft.
• JRE 6.0 - Java Runtime Environment
• Office 2007 Converter - Converts Office 2007 files so that they may be opened with Office 2003 applications.
• Flash Player 10.2 - is software for viewing animations and movies using computer programs such as a web browser.
