Mission
The mission of American Samoa Community College Campus Security Division is to provide safety and security services for students, faculty, staff, and general public while on or in any property or facility owned or operatred by the college. This division acts to deter crime, protect property, preserve the peace, and enforce all federal, state and local laws within it's jurisdiction in accomplishing the college overall mission. Security officers shall adhere to and enforce approved policies and rules and regulations consistant with the college core values and institutional learning outcomes.
Institutional Outcomes
Outcome 1: To provide safety and security services for students, faculty, staff, and general public while on or in any property or facility owned or operated by the college.
Outcome 2: Ensures the protection and safety of all College constituencies during regular operational hours.
Outcome 3: Ensures the safety and security of campus buildings and premises during operational and non-operational hours.
Outcome 4: Facilitates Planning and training particular to evacuation plans during natural or other types of disaters.
